Medland Manor is a small estate sited between Exeter and Okehampton and on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park. The present owners, Christine and Peter Benjamin, bought the property in 1996 as a “retirement hobby”, and have substantially improved the house and gardens since then. Looking to their less able old age they are now building a contemporary single storey house in the walled garden. This is being filmed for the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs.
